Construction Post: Costumes (Jodie)

Costumes and make-up play an important role in the drama, character creation, visual aesthetic and even practical elements in a production. Ideally costumes should help the audience understand the nature of the characters.

Main Character:

For the main character's costume we wanted to keep it fairly simply and use items of clothing we already owned. We want her to appear like an average teenage girl, therefore we dressed her in casual on trend clothes.

We chose the following outfit:
- Black Jeans
- Green Parka
- White T - Shirt
- Trainers

Stalker Character:

As the second female character is presented as someone who is a stalker, we dressed then in all black clothing, to give off a mysterious, edgy vibe. We want the character to be like a shadow, blending into the night sky, only to be seen when she wants to.
 The outfit consists of:
-  Black Jeans
-  Black hoodie
-  Black T-shirt
-  Black Trainers

As we want the character to come across as creepy we will not show her face at any point during the opening, the black hoodie will be oversized covering the character entire face and identity, she will appear like a ghost.
